Tournaments
This is a Pro feature. Upgrade your group to access tournaments.
Tournaments let you run structured bracket competitions within your group. Whether it's a Friday afternoon knockout or a full round-robin group stage, tournaments give your matches extra stakes and a clear champion at the end.
Tournament formats
Single-elimination bracket
A classic knockout format. Losers are eliminated; winners advance until one player (or team) remains. Each round is automatically drawn from the previous round's results.
Group stage
Players (or teams) are divided into groups and play each other round-robin style. The top finishers from each group advance to a knockout stage. Ideal for larger groups where everyone should get multiple games.
Creating a tournament
- Go to Tournaments and click New Tournament
- Choose a name and format (single-elimination or group stage)
- Select the participating players or teams
- Choose a seeding method:
- Rating-based — highest-rated players get the best seeds
- Random — random draw, no seeding advantage
- Click Create
The bracket or group table is generated immediately.
Playing matches
Each tournament match appears in the bracket with the assigned players. Record the result by clicking on the match, entering the score, and confirming. The bracket advances automatically.
Apply to leaderboard
When creating a tournament, you can choose whether its match results also count toward the main leaderboard rating. If enabled, every tournament match updates player ratings just like a regular recorded match. If disabled, tournament results are tracked separately and don't affect ratings.
Team tournaments (2v2)
In 2v2 mode, tournaments use teams rather than individual players. When creating a tournament, you assign players to teams. Each team is seeded by their average combined rating.
Tournament history
Completed tournaments are saved under the Tournaments page and show the final bracket, all results, and the champion. Past tournaments are never deleted.
